Our Story
EarthJOY began as a tree climbing company in 2007—growing one rope at a time. At the time, we were both working full-time jobs—Bill as an Electrical Engineer and me as a Licensed Physical Therapist.
In 2015, with my dad’s blessing, we built our first magical treehouse on my family’s 200-acre property. His deep love for nature was passed down to us, and with it, the responsibility to be stewards of the land. This pivotal moment allowed us to take EarthJOY to the next level, eventually leaving our day jobs to dedicate ourselves fully to this dream.
Since then, we’ve expanded our vision—adding two more treehouses, a tiny home, and purchasing 85 acres of bordering land. We've created 20 miles of themed hiking trails, each designed to inspire adventure and connection with nature.
EarthJOY now offers retreats, guided tree climbs, forest therapy walks, and team bonding experiences. To date, we’ve welcomed and facilitated over 100,000 climbers and guests—each finding their own connection to the trees, the land, and themselves.
We love what we do!
At EarthJOY, we invite you to slow down and reconnect. Though our land spans 285 acres, it holds an energy reminiscent of the healing tree in Avatar—full of light and love.
We wonder... what does that feel like to you?
What would it be like to wander, be present, and let the trees heal you?
Come find out.
